BABY LOSS AWARENESS WEEK

During Baby Loss Awareness Week, Wednesday 9th to Tuesday 15th October 2025, Bristol & Weston Hospitals Charity and St Micheal’s Hospital sent beacons of light into the night sky in association with our Snowdrop Appeal which raised funds to improve eight bereavement spaces.

The blue and pink lights were in support of those who have experienced devastating pregnancy and baby loss. Find out more about the lights that reached families all over Bristol.

How you can help

With your support we can go above and beyond what the NHS can provide to help treat some of the most vulnerable babies at the start of their lives.

The 2018 Bristol to Paris Cycle Challenge raised £150,000 towards a new 4D ultrasound scanner in the fetal medicine unit. This state of the art piece of equipment will provide greater diagnostic accuracy for fetal imaging, vital for conducting life-saving in-utero procedures and facilitating prenatal bonding.

Your support will help us do even more great things for St Michael's Hospital. Thank you.
