You're all champions in our eyes but we'd love to have you onboard as a Charity Champion too. As a Charity Champion, you'll join other members of UHBW staff in helping raise awareness of your charity, so together we can continue to bring moments of joy, comfort and happiness to those who need it the most. BECOME A CHARITY CHAMPION What does a Charity Champion do? We know how busy you are, so being a Charity Champion doesn’t have to be time consuming. We have roles and responsibilities that can easily fit around your routine. From inspiring others as a Patient Engagement Champion, sharing posts on social media as a Digital Champion, encouraging your colleagues to get involved as an Events Champion, or becoming the Ultimate Charity Champion. With your support, we're able to go the extra mile for you and your patients. Be our onsite photographer and help us capture new projects, staff fundraisers and onsite charity events. EVents Champion Organise fundraising events on behalf of your team and encourage colleagues to get involved Share charity events on your social media pages, display posters on your ward or unit and share news on event volunteering opportunities with your team Share your thoughts and ideas on our events calendar and how we can inspire UHBW staff get involved. This may involve focus groups or surveys Support at BWHC events when possible. This could include collections, awareness stands, cheer stations at running events or helping at the Big Bristol Walk or the Christmas Star Concert.
