Support in memory of a loved one

Giving a gift to remember a loved one can bring comfort in a time of great sadness. It is a way to celebrate and honour the life of someone special. Your gift in memory will help fund projects at our hospitals that will bring joy, comfort and hope to patients now and in the future.

How you choose to give will be personal to you and your loved ones memory. There are lots of you can give and we'll be here to support you, every step of the way.

MAKE A DEDICATION IN MEMORY

Our memory wall is a page to celebrate, honour and share the love to those who mean the world to you.

Leave a message or photo for a loved one, say thank you to someone who is there for you, or make a dedication in memory.

Every dedication will help make a difference to patients at our hospitals across Bristol and Weston, both now and in the future.

MAKE A DEDICATION

I wanted to show my support to those who helped us say goodbye to Franklin, in the hope that no-one else will have to go through it, said Franklin's Dad, Christian

THE DIFFERENCE YOU could make

Your generous support allows us to create moments that truly make a difference, including memory boxes, end of life bags and creating the most gentle and considered environments. These items offer comfort, love, and dignity to families facing loss, helping them preserve cherished moments and providing essentials during difficult times.

GRIEFCHAT

We know that no-one can understand exactly what your loss feels like to you. But we do understand that it’s sometimes easier to talk to someone outside of your friends and family about grief and the impact of bereavement on your life and this is why we offer the GriefChat service.

By clicking on the GriefChat box in the bottom right corner of this screen, you can chat directly to a specially trained bereavement counsellor. GriefChat counsellors are experienced in supporting bereaved people and will listen to your story, explore how your grief is affecting you and help you to find any additional support you might need. GriefChat provides emotional support for bereaved people, access to trained bereavement counsellors and referral into other specialist bereavement services.

GriefChat is a completely free service and is available Monday-Friday, 9am-9pm (except Bank Holidays) or by email out of these hours.
