We want to change this and make sure everyone can access the healthcare they need and has the best possible experience for their individual needs. Over the past two years, we’ve funded almost £800,000 in projects that have helped tackle health inequalities. But there’s still so much more to be done, particularly for young people moving from paediatric to adult care, the learning disability and neurodiverse population, and those accessing mental health and maternity care. We want to reduce these health inequalities, remove these stresses, and make sure no-one slips through the gap. Will you join us? CREATING HEALING environments and moments of joy The hospital environment plays an important role in the way people recover, influencing the healing process and improving patient wellbeing. From sensory design and artwork to calming lighting and nature, the physical environment has a significant impact not only on patients, but families and staff too.
