Primark Bristol has donated £500 worth of clothing and gifts to elderly patients in your hospitals.

Donations included pyjamas, eye masks, socks and toiletries to help older patients feel special at Christmas. They went to Wards A515, A515 and A606 at the Bristol Royal Infirmary (BRI).

Muna Hussen, our Head of Public Fundraising, helped choose the items and drop  them off at the hospital. She said:

Many of the elderly patients have spent days, weeks or months on the wards and many will not get home in time for Christmas. It was great to spread some joy to these patients across the BRI.

"Thank you to everyone at Primark and to all the shoppers who donated - you really have made a difference to patients this Christmas."
