Goodbye to X 9th January 2025 You might have noticed we’ve been quiet on X (formerly Twitter) recently. Over the years, X has been a great platform for communicating with NHS staff. But more recently, it has also become a place to spread misinformation and a platform for hate speech, becoming a toxic online environment. This doesn’t align with our charity values and behaviours, which is why we’ve decided to start 2025 by saying goodbye to X. We know that no social media platform is perfect, but you’ll still be able to find us on Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn and YouTube and we’d love you to join us there if you haven’t already. We’ve also looked at an alternative to X and you can find us on Bluesky using @bwhc.bsky.social. Bluesky is a relatively new social platform that describes itself as "social media as it should be". We’ll continue to review our existing social media platforms and explore any new platforms that emerge.
