MAKE A DIFFERENCE WITH EVERY STITCH

Love knitting or crafting? Want to make a difference from the comfort of your sofa? We need your purls of wisdom and crafty creations to help raise vital funds for your Bristol and Weston hospitals at our charity shop and at craft sales.

Our charity shop in the Bristol Royal Infirmary is as popular as ever and baby and children’s knitted goods are flying off the shelves. We’re calling on kind-hearted knitters like you to help us keep up with demand by donating your beautiful knits and crafts.

Whether it’s cardigans, jumpers, blankets or toys - every stitch supports our mission to help bring joy, comfort and hope to patients in your ten hospitals.

Knitting is great. Knitting for charity is even greater.

Young fundraiser holding handknitted rainbows

Isabelle aged six and her mum Louise, finger knitted 52 rainbows and raised more than £300 as a way to say thank you to their NHS.

“Mummy showed me how to do the finger knitting but with a bit of practise we got better and better. I have done lots since I learnt my new skill and I am going to make a hat for my little sister in the winter.”
