Role summary

We’re looking for friendly and enthusiastic volunteers to do great things in our hospital community.

The focus of this role is to raise awareness and visibility of the charity by carrying out the distribution of leaflets, posters and staff freebies within your allocated hospital. This role can fit easily around your weekly commitments and can be done on a day and time to suit you.

This role involves talking to NHS staff about the charity and the ways they can get involved, placing collection tins on wards and departments, replenish and tidy leaflets on ward boards and leaflet stands located throughout your allocated hospital.

You’ll meet fantastic people and gain a deeper understanding of the charity sector while building the confidence and interpersonal skills that look great on your CV.

The role requires a minimum commitment of six months and a Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check which will be provided by the charity.

As an Hospital Liaison Volunteer, you’ll be a friendly face for our NHS team to get to know and find out more about the charity.

With your support, we can bring even more moments of joy, comfort and hope to those who need it most in our ten hospitals across Bristol and Weston.
