Leaving a gift to a specific hospital or ward

We understand that some people may specify a wish to ensure their gift is used in a specific hospital. We will ensure that any gifts that have been left for a specific ward, department or fund will, of course, be used for the purpose specified in the will.

However, we do ask that people consider not specifying a ward, as wards and their needs can change over time and may not be the same when we receive their gift as when the will was made.

If a will does not specify where their gift is to be used, it will be used wherever the need is greatest across your 13 hospitals in Bristol and Weston.
