FAQs

BWHC Logo sunburst icon How much does it cost to take part?

There are a number of different registration options – starting from £20

Check the sign up page for current offers!

BWHC Logo sunburst icon How much do I need to fundraise?

Depending on if you sign up for a charity place or self-fund, the fundraising target varies.

At least 50% of the ‘sponsorship target’ should be with the charity three weeks prior to the challenge.

BWHC Logo sunburst icon Can I sign a team up to take part?

Of course! You can create or join a team via the sign up page.

BWHC Logo sunburst icon Do I have to be an expert to take part?

You will need to prepare well and should read the training advice. The more comfortable you are with walking or running long distances for sustained periods, the more comfortable you will be on the challenge itself.

A training plan is in the participant’s area of the website and we recommend organising regular training walks or runs to get your fitness levels up.

BWHC Logo sunburst icon What happens to the money I raise?

The money you raise will help our Bristol and Weston hospitals and their staff to do even more to treat and care for patients and their families, wherever the need is greatest. Check out our latest impact report.
