Event volunteer

We’re looking for enthusiastic and friendly volunteers who can give just a few hours of their spare time to support at our events such as the Great Bristol Runs, craft stalls or our Big Bristol Abseil.  

Tasks could include:

Cheering on our participants 
Supporting at registration or handing our certificates/medals
Selling merchandise or refreshments
Helping our participants with any questions  

It's an ideal role for volunteers who require some flexibility or experience on a CV. 

You’ll  connect with the community, meet new people and enjoy the atmosphere at some of Bristol’s biggest events, while supporting a great cause. 

Event Volunteers help create a positive atmosphere and play a vital role in making our fundraising events successful, ensuring everything runs smoothly.  

With your support, we can bring even more moments of joy, comfort and hope to those who need it most in your ten hospitals.  
 

Full guidance and support will be given by the Community Fundraising Team 

The event manager will be in touch prior to the event to provide you with an event brief to read through in advance. This will include information on keeping safe and what you can expect to be doing on the day  

A great atmosphere on the day. Any of our events will be a wonderful additionto your CV or to simply be part of 

Monthly newsletters keeping you up to date on what is happening at Bristol & Weston Hospitals Charity and how you have made a difference 

An invitation to our annual celebration event to say thank you.
