Raising money for your hospitals couldn't be simpler.

Whether you’re gearing up to run a marathon, taking on a skydive or having a bake sale, it has never been easier to kick-start your fundraising with an online charity donation page.

Simply set up your own Fundraising Page on JustGiving and invite your friends, family and colleagues to get involved and support you. You can track how much money you have raised and keep people updated on your progress.

 

CREATING A FUNDRAISING PAGE ON JUSTGIVING

Here’s how to set up your JustGiving page:

1. Firstly, you will need to create your own account.
2. Next, search for the cause you want to support or simply click here to fundraise for our charity. Then click the blue button at the top to 'Fundraise for us'.
3. State what type of fundraising you are doing, such as taking part in an event, celebrating an occasion, or fundraising in memory. If you can’t see your event listed on the drop-down menu, you can select ‘Add your own’ at the bottom of the page.
4. Next, you will need to create your web address. This is the link you will be sharing with friends and family when asking them to donate.
5. Now select ‘Create your Page’ and voila! You now have your own fundraising page. 

Start sharing your link to your friends and family, shout out about your fundraising efforts on your social channels, or print out your personal QR code to put up at your event.

WAYS TO MAKE THE MOST OF YOUR PAGE

Use these tips to give your fundraising on your JustGiving page a boost:

 Add an image to your page. When fundraisers added an image or videos to their page they raised over £400 more on average than those that didn’t.

 Personalise your story. Adding a story to your JustGiving page and letting everyone know why you’re raising money for Bristol & Weston Hospitals Charity can help your raise £500 more. 

 Add a fundraising target. On average, pages with a fundraising target raise over £200 more than those that didn't. 

 Kick your page off with a donation to help you raise an average of 24% more.

 Share your page on social media and email it to your friends, family and colleagues.

 And don't give up. Reaching your target won't happen overnight. Keep on going, tell people about your event, post updates on your training, and keep sharing on social media.
