The Bridge offers medical care, emotional and psychological support, as well as practical help to anyone who has been raped or sexually assaulted. LITTLE THINGS THAT MAKE A BIG DIFFERENCE From creating welcoming, calming environments so visitors feel safe and supported, to funding clothing and toiletries for clients whose clothing needs to go for medical examination. Little touches like these can go a long way in providing dignity, privacy and empathy. "These special gestures and added details just wouldn’t be possible without the amazing and admirable work from Bristol & Weston Hospitals Charity. They are small things that go a long way to making a difference for patient care, comfort and experience." Said Harry Wide, crisis worker and male service development officer at The Bridge Click the images below to read more. The below video “Here No Matter What” was funded by us for UHBW to help prepare patients for a visit to the Bridge and reassure them that they will be cared for and listened to by the dedicated team. We want to continue to ensure that The Bridge is a safe, welcoming and accessible service for all individuals in the communities we serve.
