The children’s surgery network manager has written a book about her dog Buddy to encourage dog safety with friends and family members. She said: “The idea of publishing a children’s picture book to promote positive and safe dog and child interactions has been bumping around in my head for quite a while. “My own personal journey of owning a large, lively mixed breed dog with an extended family who aren’t familiar with dogs has played a large part in how the book developed.” The book is now available on Amazon and the profits will be split between Bristol & Weston Hospitals Charity and Hope Rescue, the South Wales dog rescue charity who rescued Buddy in 2021.
