Thanks to the generosity of our supporters there is a new machine that is revolutionising doctor’s training. The Eyesi Virtual Reality Surgical Simulator enables junior doctors to train for cataract and retinal surgery.

This provides them with the same experience they would have during actual operations. It can be made to simulate simple or complex cases and the trainee surgeon can repeatedly practice how to deal with complications. This makes all the difference to doctors training and enhances the treatment of their patients.
