FAQs How much does it cost to take part? It's just £10 per adult to sign up. There is no fee for juniors (under 18 on 7th June 2026) but an optional donation to Rotary Nailsea & Backwell can be made in lieu of the registration fee. Can I run the event? Yes! You can run the 5km which is a relatively flat footpath. There is also the option to go the extra mile with 10km and 20km cross country routes availble. They follow footpaths which are often grass or dirt, may be wet underfoot and including a few reasonably steep inclines/declines. There are gates and stiles along the way. Whilst the 5K route is signposted, participants may need to refer to maps from time to time, with a degree of self navigation. Note that the 10K and 20K routes will not be signed. Can I bring my dog? Participants can walk with dogs as long as they are kept under control and on a lead so that they do not inconvenience other walkers, runners, the general public or any livestock. How much do I need to fundraise? There is no minimum fundraising target so just raise as much as you can to support your hospitals. You can create your own fundraising page on JustGiving to share with your friends and family to sponsor you. Can I sign a team up to take part? Of course! If you would like to enter a team, please email [email protected] to have a chat. Is the event accessible? The 5km is an easy flat route which follows accessible footpaths around Nailsea and Wraxall and is suitable for pushchairs, wheelchairs and mobility vehicles. Have a question?
